Meet Mr. Buddy Mr. Buddy is an approximately 2-year-old Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix weighing 59 lbs, and he's as sweet and easygoing as they come. He's also fully potty trained, which makes him an easy addition to a home. Mr. Buddy has a calm, gentle personality and truly enjoys the simple things—going on walks, being brushed, and soaking up all the scratches he can get. Over the past few days, he's shown that he absolutely loves cuddling and being close to his person. He does great with both people and other dogs, and he rides calmly in the car, making him a great companion whether you're relaxing at home or heading out for an adventure. Mr. Buddy is a happy, affectionate dog who would thrive in a loving home looking for a loyal, laid-back companion. He is up to date on all vaccinations and has recently been seen by a vet. Mr. Buddy has tested positive for Lyme disease; however, he is not showing any issues or symptoms and this does not affect his sweet personality or quality of life. Lyme disease is not contagious and does not spread to other dogs or people. This should not stop anyone from considering adopting this amazing boy. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee. Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
