Meet Moo — your future 100-pound lap dog with the softest heart and the goofiest, most lovable face. Moo is everything people adore about Great Danes: gentle, affectionate, a little bit silly, and completely devoted to her people. With her big, dopy eyes and sweet "talking" whines, she has a way of communicating that will absolutely steal your heart. Everyone who meets her falls in love—and it's easy to see why. She's the perfect mix of laid-back and playful. Moo is a total couch potato at heart and loves lounging nearby or laying at your feet, but she also has bursts of happy, playful energy. She enjoys walks, squeaky toys, and trips to the dog park where she can soak up attention and make new friends. And speaking of friends—Moo has never met a stranger. She is incredibly social and does wonderfully with dogs, cats, kids, and humans of all ages and sizes. She's the kind of dog who fits seamlessly into a home and makes everyone feel like her favorite person. Moo is potty trained, does great overnight, and does well when left home alone. She knows commands like sit, stay, and "go potty," and she's eager to please her people. She walks on a leash but can pull at times—she's strong, after all!—but she's already working on improving her manners. She is also trained on an invisible fence. While Moo is not crate trained, she has proven to be a trustworthy and well-behaved girl in the home. She is loyal, obedient, and truly just a big, lovable joy to have around. Moo has also completed treatment for heartworm and is now negative. She will simply need to remain on monthly preventatives for life, to keep her happy and healthy moving forward. If you're looking for a gentle giant who will fill your home with love, laughter, and the sweetest companionship, Moo is your girl. Bi dog, bigger heart- and she's ready to gibe it all to her forever family. Note that this dog has been treated for heartworm and will need monthly heartworm preventatives year round for life. Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter's expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***
