DOB: 6/28/25 Current Weight(as of 2/20/26 is 8pds) Adoption Fee: $350 includes 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness. Bestie came to us at just one week old with his siblings. His right eye never fully developed and had to be removed at 5 months old. He doesn't have full vision in his left eye but he does extremely well getting around his foster family's home. Routine and having items not moved around help him guide his way around the home. His biggest vision issue is depth perception. He never goes up or down stairs. His foster family carry him outside to go potty and play under their constant supervision. His potty routine is using peewee pads in the house unless he is carried outside to go. If you have stairs in your home then they must be baby gated off to keep him safe. Bestie loves other dogs! He does tend to be scared around dogs over 30pds. His best friend is a 15pd terrier mix. He has done great around the kitties. Most are his size or bigger. Bestie is crate trained. He sleeps in a crate at night with his bed and a peewee pad. He is that cutest little guy. When he gets worked up playing or running after us in a game of tag he sounds like he is giving a little honking sound. It's the cutest thing and hard to explain. Fill out that application if you fill he would be a great companion to your family and your family will be great for him to live with. Puppies are NOT housebroken and should not be expected to wait more than 1 hour for each month of age to go out t8o potty. Please make sure that you have a "potty plan" in place if considering adoption. All of our puppies have been spay/neuter, wormed, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting/adopting one of them just fill out a application at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on the 'Adopt A Dog' icon and a dedicated volunteer will be in touch.
