One Thursday night, Carol (our director) was riveted to an exciting episode of Matlock on TV when a neighborhood rescuer called her about a friendly cat sitting in front of a supermarket nearby. Carol told the rescuer to go ahead and bring him over, so 15 minutes later he was at her apartment, still interrupting Matlock. She named him after the show and got him situated in a cage, though he needs more space since he has so much energy. Since then, he has been neutered, tested and vaccinated. He is 1–2 years old and would make a great roommate!
