Meet Lilith, a sweet 6-month old retriever mix who weighs 37 pounds. She is making up for lost time and lost love. This little girl spent the beginning of her life on a chain outside, but she's quickly learning that life can be so much sweeter with good food, fun toys, a comfy bed, and a whole lotta love. Lilith is crate trained and appears to be house trained with no accidents yet! While she understandably is shy in crowded or loud environments, this girl has blossomed in her foster home and has shown her silly side when playing with toys and goofing with her fur siblings. Lilith would thrive in a home with another dog, especially one that could show her just how great it can be to be loved by humans. She has been tested with kids at adoption events and would do well in a home with children who understood she is a shy girl who needs gentle love and a space to decompress and build confidence in her own time. If you are interested in adopting Lilith, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
Your donation helps the Rescue Spot Foundation support pets in need and the rescues and shelters that love them — funding critical care, emergency services, and adoption support.Together, we help every tail find its happy ending. 🐾💛
