Hello! Hi everyone, my name is Phoebe and look at my glow-up! I survived an ordeal where I was abandoned and was found dirty, matted, sick, and with severe stomatitis. I had dental surgery to correct my stomatitis and just look at me now! I am 11 years old, but I'm full of spunk and life - my favorite thing to do is play string with my foster dad. I am understandably shy and cautious of new people I meet, and it takes some time to earn my trust. But when you do . . . the only thing I'll want to do is hang and out purr with you all day. I am not a lap cat yet, but I really am working on it. I'm sweet and very mild mannered. I am FIV +, which means my immune system is not so hot and I get more infections than a normal cat. However, I still have a normal life expectancy and can live a very happy and healthy life otherwise. I don't get along with other animals, but I have multiple cats' worth of love to give. Do you think I would fit into your life? I promise it'll be worth it. I am located in the Wilmington, NC area. Unless otherwise noted I can be met on Saturdays at one of our adoption events.
