***Jamie is currently located at and available for adoption our rescue in Georgia. She can be transported to New Jersey and available for adoption at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes over the July 15-16 weekend. An application to adopt or foster Jamie can be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to register or login). Questions about Jamie and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the Rescue's number.*** As a woman was driving home one day, she came across two young puppies standing in the road. This woman had to swerve her car around the pups to keep from hitting them. While this woman could not foster the pups herself, she did find a friend to serve as foster until we could get both pups into our rescue. Jamie and her sister, Julie, share a lot of the same characteristics. The main difference is that Jamie's coloring is a bit darker than is her sister's. Jamie loves her interaction with people, takes a bit of a submissive personality towards other dogs and loves to cuddle! She'll do very well in a home with other dogs and kids who are old enough to properly handle a dog. Being a hound mix, Jamie will do best in a home that permits plenty of time outdoors for her to run and play. Jamie has already been spayed, has received an update on her annual vaccinations and de-wormers, been started and kept up to date on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives and will come with a microchip. She'll most likely require some house training. ***Additional pictures will be posted shortly.
