COURTESY POST: Please contact EMILY if interested. ey.em.yoder@gmail.com. Zig is around 4-6 years old, no heath conditions, up to date on vaccines as of january including rabies, fvrccp, felv/fiv vaccine and full bloodwork which came back looking amazing. He is not very good with dogs, he can adjust to them but he gets stressed and will urinate in the house when meeting a new dog. if he's the only pet, he will not urinate in the house unless he does not have access to his litter box. He acts well with other cats but does do some marking so i think he would be best in a home where he is the only pet or someone is able to handle the adjustment period while he gets use to a new housemate. He is very food motivated and will try to eat human food if it's left unattended. He will eat anything but he does not chew on cords. He is declawed and neutered from his previous owners but he still has back claws and he's never tried to scratch up any furniture. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for kittens (6 months & under) $150 for cats (older than 6 months) $100 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.
