Birthday: May 1, 2024 Fudge is a sweetheart who has been through so much. He was born with a cleft soft palate, a congenital defect where a hole is present between the mouth and nose. The membrane that is normally there prevents food and water from entering the nose and lungs. Kittens who have this defect tend to not survive infancy due to pneumonia caused by water or food when they inhale. In addition to the cleft palate, Fudge would develop a gum condition known as stomatitis. Thankfully, Fudge went through multiple surgeries to fix his defected palate and a complete teeth extraction surgery to overcome his gum condition. Now he is as healthy as a horse, and he's ready to find his forever family! Despite what he has been through, Fudge is one happy little kitty cat! He doesn't suffer from any set backs due to his previous health conditions, and you wouldn't even notice! He loves to spend his days sitting by the window, watching the birds and squirrels go about their day. He seems to think his tail is a toy, often chasing it and trying to catch it. He's a lucky dog, so to speak, as he has two girlfriends he loves to zoom after! As goofy as this black kitty is, Fudge also has a kind, sweet soul. Snuggling is one of the ways he loves to show you he adores you, and he often does so whenever his foster mom is relaxing in bed! He was brave during his surgeries, showing nothing but friendliness and kindness to the ones who worked hard to give him the help he needed. Fudge is a special boy who deserves an equally special family! Who knows? It might be you! Fudge's adoption donation is $115 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter/spay.
