Meet McIntosh: The Sweetest Apple in the Orchard! If you are looking for the perfect pick of the litter, look no further than McIntosh! Named after the crisp, sweet apple, this 18-week-old handsome panther absolutely lives up to his name. McIntosh has a wonderfully laid-back personality, but don't let his chill demeanor fool you—he still has plenty of kitten energy! He absolutely loves to play, pounce, and run around the house with his siblings. He is also naturally inquisitive and is always the first to investigate new toys, boxes, and surroundings. When playtime is over, it's all about the love. McIntosh is an incredibly affectionate boy who can often be found cuddling up in a warm kitten puddle with his brothers and sister. Better yet, he absolutely adores his humans! His favorite thing to do is stretch all the way out on a warm lap. Give him a good rubdown, and he will immediately let you know exactly how happy he is by turning on his rumbling, loud purr. McIntosh has a deep bond with his siblings—a gorgeous litter of brown tabbies. While he is sure to bring joy to any home, McIntosh would love to be adopted alongside one of his siblings: Granny Smith, Braeburn, or Fuji. Adopting a pair means they will always have a built-in playmate and cuddle buddy while you are away, and you get double the love! We encourage you to consider adopting kittens in pairs! There are several reasons why McIntosh would do good with a friend, including: -Two kittens keep each other entertained - they will play and get all their energy out on each other in time for snuggles with you! -Having two kittens to play with each other prevents "I'm lonely and bored" behavioral issues. -Watching two kittens wrestle is quite possibly the cutest thing you will ever see. -The kittens will teach each other "how to cat" and learn to be more social with humans and people. -You'll save two lives instead of one! McIntosh is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered , and litter box trained. McIntosh 's adoption fee is $165. Please note A.R.F. does not approve applications for any kitten under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL. If you are interested in meeting McIntosh please fill out our online kitten adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ today! Once your application has been approved, an A.R.F. volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.
