Andy is a tough little survivor with a big personality and very clear boundaries. This former street cat has been through a lot, and while he's come a long way, he's still very much on his own terms when it comes to affection. Andy isn't the kind of cat who will demand constant attention - but when he does decide he's in the mood for pets, it's a pretty special moment. Andy is a bit feisty and would do best with an experienced cat owner who understands and respects feline body language. He'll need a home without children and one that's willing to give him the space and patience he deserves as he settles in and builds trust. Because of his rough life on the streets, Andy came to us with some severe dental issues and has since had all of his teeth removed - but don't let that fool you! He gets along just fine and is ready to enjoy the comfort and safety of indoor life. Andy gets along with other cats that are on the calmer side but has not yet been dog tested. He's looking for a calm, understanding home where he can truly be himself - quirks, sass, and all! For the right person, Andy will be an incredibly rewarding companion. Andy's adoption fee is $85 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FIV/FeLV test. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor only pets and that adopters have a history of having kept their pets indoors, altered, and current on vaccinations and preventative care. Our adoption process includes a background check, home visit, and a vet check. If you would like to meet Andy, please submit an adoption application for consideration on our website, Adopthope.org.
